About Us Print this page
Sunset Fire and Rescue is a great lil fire department in Davis County in Utah. We provide fire protection to a small city with great people. EMS calls are 90% of our call volume and we serve with pride. We have a saying that echos most volunteer fire departments everywhere
"PRIDE IS OUR PAY"
Just cause we dont get money, doesn't mean we dont get paid. Please drop us a line, we would love to talk to you and get to know ya.
The Sunset Fire and Rescue is located in Northern Utah between Roy, Clearfield, and Clinton. We serve primarily urban and suburban territory which includes several miles of Interstate I-15. Founded in 1956 as a Volunteer fire Company. We changed our name in 1995, with the addition of a Rescue status.
In addition we offer primary fire protection for approximately an population of 5,000. We have 28 volunteers operating 2 pieces of fire suppression apparatus, 1 squad, and a hazmat, rehab trailer. On average, we run about 400 calls a year, the bulk of which are EMS calls or vehicle accidents
